Fastener Selection:
- When fixing polycarbonate sheets allowance has to be made when drilling screw holes so that the sheet can move freely as it expands and contracts
- Screw hole must have a minimum dimension of 10mm for sheet lengths up to 4.2m. Lengths over 4.2m and up to 8.1m require 12mm diameter holes.
- All screws must be fitted with 26mm grey-domed weather-proof seals

Polycarbonate Range:
Polycarbonate sheeting offers three range options to accommodate a wide array of specific needs and climates.
SOLASAFE Range
The most widely used range of polycarbonate sheeting. The SolaSafe range comes in six colours, each offering varying light and heat transmission ratings.
SOLAFROST Range
The SolaFrost range features a matte texture on the underside of the polycarbonate sheet, enhancing heat dispersion and ensuring even light transmission. This texture reduces the harsh glare of direct sunlight while offering 99.9% UV protection.
HR1 Range
The HR1 range integrates metallic particles throughout the polycarbonate sheet, employing advanced technology to disperse and reflect up to 80% of the sun’s heat. This design allows for soft, diffused light to pass through while effectively managing heat. Ideal for hot climates, the HR1 range offers optimal performance in controlling solar heat gain.
